Newman, winner of the best-schedule-to-date award, has losses to 1A #5 Saint Ansgar and 1A #3 St Edmond.
#8 Logan-Magnolia, pregame 17-point favorite, drops a game to 1A #8 IKM-Manning, 26-7. Logan-Magnolia is expected to quickly regroup as they travel to West Monona as a 50+ point favorite.
